'Upscale Pub-Bistro' Restaurant Opens On Main Street In Manchester

One section of a new restaurant in Manchester has a "speakeasy" feel to it.

MANCHESTER, CT — Restaurateur Vito Fornarelli has expanded his Connecticut portfolio with the opening of The Pearl on Main Street in Manchester.

The Pearl is located at 623 Main St. The official opening was announced Sunday.

Fornarelli describes The Pearl as "an upscale pub-bistro specializing in American, Italian and Mexican cuisine, along with signature bar chef-inspired cocktails"

The Pearl's unique interior design includes an L-shaped bar, cozy dinning with a brick back splash surrounded by state-of-the art flat screens that offer sports enthusiasts a unique spectrum of proactive viewing experience.

The lower level of the pub will be a modern day speakeasy, VIP lounge with only top shelf brand selections.

Said Fornarelli, "Our new concept pub-bistro was painstakingly designed to offer patrons an elevated food and beverage experience in the setting of a true New England sports bar."

Fornarelli also owns Fornarelli's Ristorante in Colchester, which features featuring chef-inspired Italian cuisine.
