What Is There Too Much Of In Manchester?

Moderation is key. As Patch editors, we often hear back from readers regarding which businesses they would like to see come to Manchester. We also receive complaints about what there is too much of in your town- whether it be traffic, businesses, or crime-related.

So we asked our readers on Facebook, “What does Manchester have too much of?”

• “First world problems. I love Manchester!”

• “Too many stores or restaurants....god forbid there’s an empty space somewhere, gotta build a new store to fill it in.”

• “How is there such thing as too much package stores? I need one every route home. Seriously though, I’d rather have more liquor stores (people get drunk at home) than bars (people get drunk and drive home)“

• “Streets in disrepair, abandoned houses”

• “Beautiful historic buildings being converted into rentals and going down the crapper.”
