Falling Tree Causes Accident on Rt. 89

According to State Police, a tree caused a minor accident on route 89 Friday.

Police say that a vehicle traveling northbound on the road was damaged by a tree, which fell onto the vehicle from the road's right shoulder.

The driver (the only occupant of the car) was transported to Windham Hospital for minor injuries, according to police.

His car was not towed, but sustained severe windshield damage and right-mirror damage, police say.
