911 Service Restored In Meriden: Police

Meriden police had advised residents that 911 service was down on Friday night.

UPDATE: Eversource has resolved the issue and emergency 911 operations have been restored, police said in an update on Friday night.

(Original post) MERIDEN, CT — Meriden police are advising residents that 911 service is currently down for police, fire and EMS.

All calls are being rerouted to Waterbury, according to police.

Eversource is sending in emergency crews to diagnose and resolve the issue. Public safety crews are working to re-route 911 calls and get services enroute.
