Family Seeks Answers After Meriden Mother Found Dead In Middlefield
The 37-year-old mother of two "brought joy and happiness to everyone around her," according to family members.
MERIDEN, CT — A family is searching for answers after a 37-year-old Meriden mother of two was found dead in a home in Middlefield last month, according to multiple reports.
WFSB 3 reports Andrea Neyra’s body was found by state troopers on Oct. 19 while they were conducting a wellness check at a home her family said belongs to her ex-boyfriend.
Police are investigating, and while the manner, and cause, of her death is awaiting results from the medical examiner’s office, Neyra’s family believes there was foul play involved, according to WFSB 3.

The family has hired Attorney Dennis Bradley to represent them in their quest to get answers and to find who is responsible for Neyra’s death, according to FOX 61.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help the family with funeral expenses, lawyer fees, and for her children’s future.

“We want to come together to celebrate the life of a kind-hearted, hardworking, beautiful young mother of two — Andrea Neyra,” a post on the GoFundMe page reads. “Andrea brought joy and happiness to everyone around her. She was a loyal friend to many, here in the US and in her homeland Peru, and she had so much love to give.”
More than $14,000 has been raised in the campaign, as of Friday afternoon.
