Man Accused Of Sexual Assault Of Child: Meriden Police

The Special Crimes Unit (SCU) began investigating a complaint alleging that the accused sexually assaulted a 9-year-old child, police said.

MERIDEN, CT — David Ferri has been charged on an arrest warrant and is being held in lieu of a $200,000 bond in connection to a sexual assault investigation, police said.

On August 13, 2022, the Special Crimes Unit (SCU) began investigating a complaint alleging that David Ferri sexually assaulted a 9-year-old child, police said.

As a result of the investigation, SCU obtained an arrest warrant for Ferri, formally charging him with: Criminal Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault 1st Degree, Sexual Assault 4th Degree, and two counts of Risk of Injury/Impairing the Morals of Children, police said.

He was charged on June 14 and held on a $200,000 bond.
