Meriden Police Blotter: Drug Arrests, Fights and More

In a busy past week that includes arrests from May 22 – 27, police reported numerous arrests ranging from drug busts to public fights and more. Take a look back at the latest – and long – arrest logs.

The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:

May 22


Raymon Santiago, 50, of no certain address in Meriden, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, May 22.

Christopher Anderson, 26, of 8 Jackson St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 22.

Heather Sayah, 24, of 8 Jackson St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, May 22.

Wendy Sandillo, 42, of 205 Reservoir Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 22.

Richard Mark Gade, 43, of 205 Reservoir Ave. in Meriden, was charged with driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, May 22.

Donald Arthur Webb, 47, of 124 S. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 22.

May 23

Shandy John Roman, 23, of 277 Center St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree failure to appear, May 23.

Zusheiry Otero, 23, of 277 Center St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, May 23.

Jonathan Sparks, 33, of 131 Cottage St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 23.

Angel Manuel Ramos, 27, of 9 Gold St. in Meriden, was charged with probation violation, May 23.

Megan Lisa DeJesus, 26, of 30 New Hampshire Drive in New Britain, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension and evading responsibility, May 23.

Lashawnda Naylor, 30, 65 East Bay Path Terrace, unnamed town, in Massachusetts, was charged with sixth-degree, May 23.

Rakaim Cardona, 18, of 292 Britannia St. in Meriden, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, May 23.

May 24

Kate Hykroyd, 22, of 1953 Tuttle Ave. in Cheshire, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, May 24.

Joseph Michael Carroll, 28, of 1142 Oasis Road in Bulls Gap, Tenn., was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, May 24.

Kevin Konopka, 31, of 130 Ave. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, May 24.

Kyle Konopka, 29, of 118 Plumb Ave. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, May 24.

May 25

Mignon Texidor, 41, 21 Madison Ave. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, May 25.

Amy Corcoran, 26, of 5 Barberry Lane in Farmington, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, May 25.

Jonathan Greenwood, 30, of 29 Wickhams Fancy in Collinsville, was charged with breach of peace, May 25.

Jesse Veguilla, 19, of 27 Idle St. in Meriden, was charged with evading responsibility, May 25.

Cellisa Marie Johnson, 23, of 134 Fowler Ave. Ext. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny by shoplifting, May 25.

Marcus William Pasquale, 19, of 80 Rolling Ridge in Hamden, was charged with unsafe backing, failure to carry registration and reckless driving, May 25.

William Recardo Mendez, 22, of 35 Willow St. in Meriden, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to insure motor vehicle, misuse of plates and driving with a suspended license, May 25.

Zechariah Ortiz, 37, of 4 Quarry Lane in Meriden, was charged with failure to obey control signal, driving under the influence, second-degree threatening, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with police, May 25.

May 26

Joshua A. Jarmon, 24, of 601 Broad St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree and breach of peace, May 26.

Mylaiah Talora Rankins, 18, of 18 Allen Court in Meriden, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, May 26.

Rodney Green, 47, of 1076 Broad St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and third-degree assault, May 26.

May 27

James Boland, 25, of 60 Summer St. in Meriden, was charged with conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics and conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics in a school zone, May 27.

Nelson Steven, 47, of 30 Windsor Ave., was charged with breach of peace and second-degree threatening, May 27.

Franklyn J. Steeves, 18, of 155 Round Hill Road in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, May 27.

Cheyenne Mazeika, 18, of 171 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, May 27.

Iothea Cruz, 53, of 8 Platt Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 27.

James Benton, 52, of 81 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace and unlawful restraint, May 27.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Eleven (11) people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Six people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • Five people were cited with failure to wear seatbelt.
  • Five people were cited speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Four people were cited with violation of park curfew.
  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with creating a public disturbance.
  • Two people were cited with minors operating a motor vehicle after curfew.
  • Two people were cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • One person was cited with underage drinking.
  • One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • One person was cited with unsafe movement of a motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with allowing a dog to be a nuisance.
  • One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
  • One person was cited with failure to return license after suspension.
  • One person was cited with making an improper right turn.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with passing in a no passing zone.
  • One person was cited with walking in the roadway.
