Meriden Police Blotter: Sexual Assault and a Taser Incident

It was a busy end of the week for police, who reported all kinds of arrests including ones with sexual assault charges and assault on police officers. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.
The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:
June 4
Marc Matthew Gregoire, of 62 Yale Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, June 4.
June 5
Kalvin Ratliff, 23, of 15 Prescott St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, two counts of second-degree threatening, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, four counts of assault on a police officer, interfering with police and refusal to submit to fingerprinting, June 5.
John Zurlo, 42, of 104 Wilcox Ave. in Meriden, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, June 5.
Alfredo Nunez, 20, of 77 Hubar Ave. in Meriden, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, June 5.
Rachel Brunson, 26, of 80 Bradley Ave. in Meriden, was charged with evading responsibility, June 5.
June 6
Laurie Golden, 32, was charged with third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, June 6.
Preston Pomaiba, 24, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, June 6.
Eddil Castro, 43, of 704 N. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia in a school zone, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and traveling unreasonably fast, June 6.
Dean Klick, 46, of 71 Catlin St. in Meriden, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, June 6.
Jose Antonio Rodriguez, 40, of 2020 Broad St. in Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct, June 6.
James Dixon, 56, of 645 Grand Ave. in New Haven, was charged with second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a minor and criminal attempt to assault a police officer, June 6.
Edward Hanlon, 52, of 55 Bellridge Road in Cheshire, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, June 6.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Four people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
- Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
- Three people were cited with simple trespassing.
- Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
- Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
- Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
- One person was cited with disobeying the signal of an officer.
- One person was cited with failure to license a dog.
- One person was cited with failure to vaccinate a dog.
- One person was cited with traveling the wrong way on a highway.
- One person was cited with failure to maintain a safe distance apart.
