The state of Connecticut was experiencing issues with the 911 emergency system, according to officials.

(Original post) MERIDEN, CT — The state of Connecticut is experiencing an issue with voice 911 calls. In addition, Meriden is experiencing issues intermittently with routine phone lines and 911 calls. If you call 911 and are not able to get through, please text 911.
