Obituary: Adalberto “Berty” DeJesus Charneco, 57, of Meriden
Berty, a known jokester and avid car enthusiast, was a loving, caring man who was deeply devoted to his family.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Adalberto “Berty” DeJesus Charneco, 57, of Meriden, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home.
Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico on June 29, 1964, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Antonia (Charneco) DeJesus.
Adalberto was a jokester; he was fun to be around and enjoyed building and restoring his prized 1972 Chevrolet Nova. He was loving caring man who cherished his family above all.
He will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife, Madeline (Munoz) DeJesus; his children, Lucia Morales, Veronica DeJesus, Michael DeJesus and Vanessa DeJesus and her husband, Noah Jamal; his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Gabriella, Angel Jr., Noriel and Khalan; his brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Adalberto’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Tuesday, December 7th, from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
In accordance with his wishes, burial will be private.
