Obituary: Angela L. Parry Remillard, 45, of Meriden

Angela was a dedicated ICU nurse and advocate for patients for many years, working at both Middlesex Hospital and MidState in Meriden.

MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Angela L. Parry Remillard, 45, of Meriden, wife of Dennis P. Remillard, passed away unexpectedly, January 9, 2022.

Angela was born in Berlin, Vermont on April 25, 1976, beloved daughter of Lori Cannon and the late Lloyd (Bud) Cannon of Durham and Michael Parry of Rochester, NH.

Angela graduated from Maloney High School, Class of 94 and attended Albertus Magnus College in New Haven obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree, Class of 97 with a double major in Psych and Sociology in 3 years.

She later attended Capitol Community College earning her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2008. Angela was working on completing her BSN degree. She loved working as a Registered Nurse and advocating for her patients as an ICU nurse for the majority of her nursing career.

She developed a special bond with many she cared for and supported their families through crisis during their hospital stay. She worked at Middlesex Hospital and MidState in Meriden.

Angela was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and even named her youngest son after Dustin Pedroia. She loved to go camping at the beach with a Walmart within 20 minutes distance and many family vacations included water-oriented destinations.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time outside around the pool with a bonfire. She loved decorating her home for every special occasion, but Christmas was her favorite holiday of all. Angela loved her dogs Mickey and Lucy. Family was the center of her world.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Ashley Naccarato and her fiancé, James Barham, of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine; her sons, Blake and Dustin Remillard, both of Meriden; her sister, Patricia Hale (Joseph)Roy of Clarksville, Tenn, and stepbrothers William (Veronica) Cannon of Bolton, CT, John (Marisa) of Missouri City, Texas and James (Lisa) Cannon of Virginia Beach, VA. She is survived by Aunts, Uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Emily Lynn Hendricks and all of her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2 pm until 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at 5 pm in the funeral home.
