Obituary: Anthony W. Willette, 57, of Meriden
Anthony was a long time HVAC Technician and dedicated family man and friend. He worked hard to make a difference in the lives of others.

MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Anthony W. Willette, 57, of Meriden, died peacefully Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Hartford Hospital.
He was born in Meriden, March 15, 1964, a son of Raymond F. and Gloria J. (Cooper) Willette and spent his life in Meriden.
Anthony graduated from Francis T. Maloney High School in 1982. He then graduated from H.C. Wilcox Technical School Post-Graduate program for HVAC.
He spent his career as an HVAC Technician for many years before entering the next chapter of his life. Over the past 8 years, Anthony was committed to his sobriety and the AA community, where he made a difference in a lot of lives.
First and foremost though, Anthony was a family man and was always there for his children. He was the type of person that would give his shirt off his back to help someone out.
He was devoted to caring for his parents, siblings and children, as well as nursing his in-laws and extended family in their later years. Anthony enjoyed fishing and watching his son work at the Cutting Edge Barber Shop.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, whom he was so proud of, Nicholas A. Willette and wife Danielle Willette of Meriden, CT and Gabrielle A. Willette and fiancée Kimberly Doell of Providence, RI; his sister Michele Willette and boyfriend Doug Smetak, his brother David Willette and wife Sue Willette, his twin brother Andrew Willette and wife Sue Spellacy Willette and their dog Sophie that Anthony cared for greatly, and his brother Scott Willette and girlfriend Maureen LaFleur; and his beloved granddaughter Briella M. Willette.
He was also deeply loved and survived by his former spouse Dawn Antolini, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Thursday, December 30th from 4 to 6:30pm.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30pm. Interment will be private. Gifts in his memory may be sent to The Shelter in Meriden which is a part of New Opportunities Inc.
