Obituary: Brenda L. Guillemette, 71, of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Brenda L. Guillemette, 71, of Meriden, loving wife of Maurice Guillemette who were together for 50 years, passed away September 6, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

Brenda was born in Caribou, Maine on March 22, 1950, a daughter of the late Irving Hunter and Gladys (Langley) Hunter of Springfield, MA .

Brenda enjoyed spending time with her three beautiful great-grandsons, watching her daily game shows with her husband and her weekly phone conversations with her beloved brother and sister.

In addition to her husband, Maurice, and her mother, Gladys, she is survived by her daughter, Julie Hunter of Meriden; her son, Steven Hunter of Meriden; granddaughter Julissa Pesok, (grandson-in-law) Jorge Pesok of Fairfield, great grandsons Jorge Jr., Julien, Jason.

The family would like to thank Dr. Fumo and all of the beautiful and hardworking staff at Midstate Medical Oncology.

Brenda’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 10 am until 12 pm.

Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. The family requests that masks be worn at all services.
