Obituary: Doris C. Hall, 86, of Meriden
Doris, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, worked many years at the Revere Co. in Wallingford.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Doris C. Hall, 86, of Meriden, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her home.
She was born in New Haven, July 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Lauren H. and Ethel (Miller) Chatfield.
Doris worked many years at Revere Co. in Wallingford.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Bernardo and her husband Vincent of Madison, and Leon Hall and his wife Joanne of Meriden; her grandchildren, Michelle Hall, Benjamin Hall (Alexandra), Vincent Bernardo (Melissa), and Marylynn Visaggio (Michael); her great-grandchildren, Jamilee, Felicity, Laydon, Dylan, Lucas, Elliott and Abigail; and her mother-in-law, Fern Parks.
She was predeceased by her son, Larry Hall; and her companion of over 30 years, Donald Groobert.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Friday, Dec. 17th from 9 to 10am.
A funeral service will follow at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden.
