Luis entering the room was like…be ready! Here he comes… and he always left a glow of lightness for others in his wake.

Luis loved people and loved to share his enthusiasm for everyday moments. He saw genuine value in others and made sure they knew it and built bridges of growth for those around him because of it.

He was a man who walked his talk, who stood strong on his values and celebrated bonds that lasted a lifetime. He enjoyed a deep love with his mother and a relationship with his father that extended deeper into friendship and that of a trusted life comrade. Luis enjoyed good home cooking by his aunts, Good music and a good time, especially with a healthy dose of sarcasm woven in.

Luis was a lover of children, all children, and his greatest source of pride has always been his boys, Isaac and Tajon…As It would be through their shared devotion and enduring love that he would define himself most.

Luis stood as a deeply loyal and loving partner to Kelly for whom a million more years together may never have been enough time to share and enjoy such an extraordinary journey of love and friendship.

To know such love but once in a lifetime is a gift that escapes many…to know a lasting security of love in the arms of another and to have them hold dear that which defines you is what that love is and was and will always be.

Luis will be greatly missed by everyone who had the fortune to know him.
