Obituary: Trinidad Moralez Guerrios, 89, of Meriden
Trinidad was always devoted and dedicated to her family. She was known as "Mami Lola", cherished as the grandma of the community.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Trinidad Moralez Guerrios, 89, of Meriden, passed away August 10, 2021 at MidState Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Puerto Rico on June 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Esteban and Nicolasa (Guerrios) Morales.
Trinidad was also known as “Mami Lola” who was considered as the grandma of the community. Who ever passed by her will always stop and ask for her blessing? Her smile alone will make your day complete and she will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Luz Alvarado and Sonia Hernandez, both of Meriden; her sons, Edward Riviera, Israel Nieves and Luis Nieves, all of Meriden; her brothers, Miguel and Mariano Morales; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as her sons and daughters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Inez, Josefina, Edwardo, Ramon and Juan Morales, and her sons, Martin Gutierrez and Jesus Nieves
Her family will receive relatives and friends at Iglesia Cristiana de Las Asambleas de Dios, 965 Yale Ave on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9 am until 11 am. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
