Cause Of Structure Fire Under Investigation: Middletown Fire Union

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Middletown Professionals Firefighters Local 1073 said they reported to a structure fire Saturday, May 13, shortly before noon.

Fire officials said around 11:48 a.m., Middletown Fire companies were dispatched to a structure fire at Portland Street with possible people trapped.

Fire officials said firefighters used multiple hand lines inside the building, completed the search, and operated in an offensive mode throughout the fire.

After completing the searches, fire officials said all occupants were out of the structure, and no injuries were reported.

Middletown Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
