Traffic Lights Go Out In Busy Section Of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Multiple traffic lights were out in a busy part of Middletown early Friday afternoon.

Fire officials did not immediately offer a cause, but said multiple lights were out on Washington Street from the intersection of Washington Street and Newfield Street westbound toward Middlefield and Ballfall Road.

Multiple businesses are also without power on a busy shopping day.

"Please use caution in the area while driving," fire officials said.
