Individuals Try To Break Into Cars In School Lots: Middletown PD

Middletown Public Schools issued a "secure the perimeter" after seeing the individuals try to break into cars.

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Middletown Police Department said Middletown Public Schools issued a "secure the perimeter" when they saw individuals in the parking lot.

Secure the perimeter went into effect after individuals were seen trying to break into unoccupied vehicles in the Spencer and Moddy School parking lot, police said.

Police officials said the individuals are believed to have left the area, and there is no threat to the public or the students.
