ID Released In Fatal Shooting: Middletown Police
Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the parking lot of Hidden Hookah Lounge on Sunday, police said.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Police said Jonathan Semidey Jr., 20, of New Britain, died after a shooting at the Hidden Hookah Lounge parking lot early Sunday.
Police responded to the shooting in the parking lot of Hidden Hookah Lounge, 695 South Main St., at 3:49 a.m. on Sunday. Police found a man in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
Officers performed life-saving measures on Semidey and were soon assisted by medical personnel. Semidey was transported to Middlesex Hospital and was later pronounced dead, police said.

The incident occurred at the closing of the establishment for the evening, and it is believed that there were numerous people in the parking lot at the time of the incident, police said.
Evidence of multiple rounds fired was discovered, but no witnesses have been located, police said.
