Middletown Fire Damages Pleasant Street Apartment House
A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze, which displaced 20 residents, fire officials said.
MIDDLETOWN, CT – An apartment house at 15 Pleasant St. was damaged in a fire early Saturday morning.
The building is home to about 20 residents, and none were injured in the fire, according to the fire department. One firefighter, however, suffered minor injuries, officials said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at about 4:42 a.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, they discovered a fire in an apartment on the third floor of the building.

Damage from the fire was limited to the apartment where the fire started, officials said.
The Fire Marshal’s Office’s investigation into the cause is ongoing.
