Middletown High School Parents: Conferences Coming Up

Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with their child's teachers to discuss their child's progress in each class.

Middletown High School Principal Colleen Weiner announced that Parent Conferences will be held at the high school Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18.

Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with their child's teachers to discuss their child's progress in each class. Teachers will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, and from 7:15 a.m to 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

Appointments are not necessary. Parents will receive a copy of their child's schedule upon entering the high school and teachers will be in the food court and in the library.

Some teachers of special areas (Vocational-Agriculture, physical education, business education and the arts) will be in other areas of the building. Staff members will be available to direct and escort parents/guardians to those special areas. Teachers in the Alternative Night Program will also be available.

"We hope that all parents avail themselves of this opportunity," said Weiner. "By using both an evening and a morning, we hope there will be a time for every parent to attend. "Those who cannot attend are urged to call the school at 860-704-4500 to make an appointment with their child's guidance counselor. Teachers may also be contacted via email."
