NORTH BRANFORD, CT — A Middletown <a href="https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/new-haven/route-17-reopens-in-north-branford-after-driver-injured-in-crash/2059757892" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">woman was killed</a> after her car hit a pole in North Branford on Thursday night. Police said that Kelly Reilly was extricated from her car on Middletown Avenue and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital on Thursday night where she was pronounced dead, according to WTNH News 8 and police. Middletown Avenue between Mansfield Drive and Maltby Lane was shut down for several hours overnight while the investigation went on but North Branford police state the road has been reopened, police said on their Facebook page.
