Middletown's Grog Shop Again Has The Lucky Touch In The CT Lottery

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A CT Lottery player from Middletown hit it big in a popular draw game at a fashionable local liquor store.

The unnamed winner cashed in a $25,000 prize Monday in the Play4 draw game. The ticket was purchased at The Grog Shop, 605 Saybrook Road, in Middletown.

It was the second such bonanza in the past three months for hopefuls buying tickets at the store. The same amount was won by a player in mid-November.

The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more as public record.
