Obituary: Stanley P. Gasior Jr., 86, Of Middletown
He worked in all capacities for the Middletown Board of Ed, from bus driver to head of maintenance and head custodian at each & every school
MIDDLETOWN, CT — (From Doolittle Funeral Home): Stanley P. Gasior, Jr., of Middletown, CT passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Stanley and Albina (Bugai) Gasior Sr.
In his early years, Stanley was a farmer, a head manager at Topps department store, and Goodyear Rubber known for making sneakers. He then moved on to his favorite job for many, many years, working for the City of Middletown Board of Education. He worked in all capacities from bus driver to in charge of maintenance and head custodian at each and every school.
He was well liked by everyone and because of that, was asked to become the AFSCME Union President. This was a position he loved and received a distinguished service award for his twenty-two years of dedicated service.

Stanley was very proud of his time spent with the school system. When not working, he enjoyed outdoor activities with his grandchildren and spending time with his whole family.
Stanley is survived by his brother, Frederick Gasior of Middletown; his daughter, Susan Santamaria of Clinton and her husband John and their son Justin; and his son, Stephen Gasior of Durham and his wife Maria and their children, Christopher and Brianna.

Along with his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Summer) Gasior for 22 years and his sister Elizabeth Polak.
A private service will be held at Doolittle Funeral Home with a burial at Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
