A Tribute to Charlie Kirk Was In Middletown on the South Green.

Sunday September 21st.

On Sunday September 21st a large group of people gathered to attend a tribute to Charlie Kirk in Middletown on the South Green. Bill Wilson, Chair of the Middletown Republican Party, organized the vigil. The prayer vigil started at 6 p.m. at the South Green. People came to share the impact that Kirk left on their lives. Prayers for his family. It had been 11 days since conservative political activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while making a public address to college students in Utah. “Charlie Kirk was a man of faith and we want to honor that,” said Lea Tomaszewski from Middletown.

“There is really nothing going on that should cause us to be angry with each other or so violent with each other that this kind of stuff happens. That’s not the way we are supposed to do things. We are supposed to debate openly,” said Sebastian Giuliano, (R) Candidate for Middletown Mayor.
