1 Person Injured After Tractor-Trailer Crash: Milford FD

MILFORD, CT — One person had to be extricated after a crash Friday morning, Adam Hansen, Milford Fire Department, PIO, said.

On Friday, around 6:04 a.m. companies were dispatched in front of 1650 Boston Post Rd for a report of a motor vehicle accident with extrication, Hansen said.

When fire crews arrived, they found a crash involving a minivan and tractor-trailer, Hansen said.

Fire crews quickly worked to extricate the driver of the minivan, Hansen said.

The driver was treated and transported to an area trauma facility, and fire crews remained on scene to mitigate any/all hazards to assist the Milford Police Department, Hansen said.
