Daycare, Preschool 'Coming Soon' To Milford

MILFORD, CT — The Learning Experience is planning on opening a Milford location. The daycare and preschool is listed as "coming soon" to 710 Boston Post Road on The Learning Experience website.

The chain has 600 sites either open or under development. Currently, there are centers operating nearby in Trumbull, New Haven, Fairfield, Cheshire, and elsewhere in Connecticut.

"The Learning Experience offers nearby preschool and daycare programs for ages 6 weeks to 6 years so your child can learn, play, and grow," according to the website.

The center offers infant daycare, toddler programs, preschool, and kindergarten readiness. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Plans call for an 11,550-sq.-ft. building with a 5,000-sq.-ft. outdoor play area.

The daycare can have up to 160 children, a representative for the project previously told the Planning and Zoning Board. The board approved a special exception to allow construction of the daycare in June.

The facility is on a property with an oral surgeon's office, which will remain. Combined, the two buildings will have 63 parking spaces.
