MILFORD, CT — Health inspectors cited 10 businesses for priority item violations in August, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

A supermarket, a bubble tea shop, and several restaurants were among those cited. All were cited for priority item violations, which are considered serious infractions that must be corrected within 72 hours.

The total number is down from 13 the previous month. Most of the violations involved improper storage of perishable food items and lapses in sanitary food preparation, and each business took steps to correct the issues.
