James E. Trapp, Jr, 70 of Branford and Milford, CT passed away on December 19, 2025 surrounded by his family.
James enjoyed above all humor, community, fishing, the Giants, and CBS Sunday Morning's Moment of Nature.
James E. Trapp, Jr, 70 of Branford and Milford, CT passed away on December 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. James, better known as Jim, Jimmy, Big Jim, and Cuz to family and friends who loved him, was a lifelong Connecticut resident and member of Laurel Beach.
He graduated from Jonathan Law High School in 1973, of which he enjoyed attending every Law High School Reunion. James enjoyed above all humor, community, fishing, the Giants, and CBS Sunday Morning’s Moment of Nature.
James is survived by his two daughters Lindsay and Sally, as well as his devoted wife of 46 years, Mary Joyce (MJ) Trapp. James is also survived by his two brothers, Dan and Ken Trapp, as well as his two sisters, Meghan Schaney and Tara Korpita, along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday 12/27/25 from 11 am - 2pm for close friends and family at the Milford Yacht Club.
