2 Arrested After Motor Vehicle Stop: Milford Police

Police said that "a search of the vehicle revealed narcotics along with numerous items used in the sale of narcotics."

MILFORD, CT — A motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of two New Haven women and "a search of the vehicle revealed narcotics along with numerous items used in the sale of narcotics," police said.

Police said they found about 100 pills, one container with white rock substance, two scales, three cell phones, numerous baggies/packaging bags of various sizes, and numerous rubber bands and wax folds, police said.

The substances seized tested positive for MDMA (ecstasy) as well as cocaine, police said.

The motor vehicle stop was made on April 28 in the area of Old Gate Lane for motor vehicle violations, police said. Two New Haven women were found inside the car, police said.

During the investigation, police said they learned that the vehicle was uninsured and unregistered. The vehicle was also bearing plates that did not belong to the vehicle, police said.

Both women were charged and released and given a court date of May 18.
