3 Men Allegedly Noncompliant With Sex Offender Registry: Police
The three Milford men were arrested on Thursday on charges of neglecting to update their addresses in the Sex Offender Registry Unit.

MILFORD, CT — Three Milford men have been accused of failing to verify their addresses in the state's sex offender registry unit, Milford Police said.
All three were taken into custody on Jan. 6 on active warrants for the charge of "failure to comply with sex offender registry," according to Milford Police records. Each allegedly didn't verify their addresses with the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services & Public Protection Sex Offender Registry Unit, police said.
James Brennan, 59, is accused of failing to verify his address in August 2021. He was released on a promise to appear in court, with a court date scheduled for Jan. 31.

Brennan was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and with promoting a minor in an obscene performance during a statewide sweep in March 2014.
In 2016, he was convicted of third-degree possession of child pornography, according to the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry.

Joshua Hurley, 27, is accused of failing to verify his address in September 2021, police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court, with a court date scheduled for Jan. 31.
Hurley is not listed in the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry.
Harun Fountain, 39, is accused of failing to verify his address in April and July 2020, and he faces two counts of failure to comply, police said. He was released on a $10,000 bond and had a court appearance scheduled for the day of his arrest.
Fountain was convicted of "risk or injury to a minor involving contact with the intimate parts of someone under age 16" in November 2011, according to the Sex Offender Registry.
The registry states he sexually assaulted a victim under 10 years old, and threatened force while committing the assault. He also ordered a juvenile male to sexually assault a juvenile victim under the threat of force, according to the registry.
