4 Rescued After Car Flipped On Its Side: Fire Union

Milford firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening where they saw one of the vehicles had flipped on its side.

MILFORD, CT – Milford Firefighters Union said they responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, May 4.

Fire officials said around 5:42 p.m., firefighters responded to the crash on Quarry Road and Research Drive.

When firefighters arrived, they reported the crash and saw one vehicle on its side.

Fire officials said fire personnel saw four occupants trapped inside the vehicle on its side. They quickly worked to get the occupants out of the vehicle. They were safely extricated and transported to Bridgeport Hospital for an evaluation.

Fire officials said after the wrecking company removed the cars, all hazards were mitigated and the crews returned to service.
