Affordable Housing Project In Milford Given Green Light By Judge: Report

The project was denied by the Planning and Zoning Board 6-1 in November 2023 and a judge sided with the developer, Hearst CT reported.

MILFORD, CT — A former GOP congressional candidate, Margaret Streicker has won a legal challenge against the city of Milford, which will move her one step closer to demolishing a 9-unit building at 25 Shell Ave. and replace it with an affordable housing development, which includes 20 units overall, the Milford Mirror reported.

The project was denied by the Planning and Zoning Board 6-1 in November 2023 and a judge sided with Streicker. The PZB hasn't decided whether it will appeal the judge's ruling.
