Amy Lynn Zerella, 46, of Milford CT, passed away peacefully due to a brief illness on January 1, 2026

Amy's love, strength, and unwavering support will be remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Amy Lynn Zerella, 46, of Milford CT, passed away peacefully due to a brief illness on January 1, 2026 while surrounded by her loving family. Amy was born on February 6, 1979, in Bridgeport, CT, to Tony and Connie (Vitello) Zerella.

Amy was a devoted professional, a loving mother, and a deeply compassionate soul whose strength and loyalty touched everyone she met. She worked for more than ten years as an office manager at P.C. Richard & Son, a role she took great pride in. Amy valued her work and the friendships she formed there, many of which became lasting and meaningful parts of her life.

Above all else, Amy cherished her son, Trevor, whom she loved with her whole heart. She treasured the time they spent together, especially their camping trips, which created memories filled with laughter, adventure, and closeness. Amy also delighted in searching for vintage clothing and nostalgic treasures.

Amy was known for being fiercely loyal, brave, funny and strong-willed. She had a remarkable ability to support others, offering kindness, encouragement, and help to anyone in need, whether a close friend or a stranger.

Family meant everything to Amy. She shared an exceptionally close bond with her parents, and her relationship with her dad held a particularly special place in her heart. Amy’s love, strength, and unwavering support will be remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her loving parents, Amy is survived by her cherished son Trevor Jaynes. As well as her uncles and aunts: Michael & Joan Vitello, Nicholas Jr. & Judie Zerella, Joseph & Claudia Zerella, and her aunt Karen Zerella. As well as her cousin, who she saw as a sister, Kristy Vitello and many additional beloved cousins, family, and friends. She was predeceased by her uncle and godfather Gary S. Zerella.

At Amy’s request, all services will be held privately by the family.
