Athletic Plans 'Pop-Up Taprooms' At Milford Brewery

MILFORD, CT — Athletic Brewing will host outdoor “pop-up taproom” experiences at its Milford brewery this summer, according to The Hartford Business Journal.

Athletic, the country’s largest non-alcoholic beer producer, has a 150,000-square-foot Milford facility that opened in 2022.

The events will be planned as new brews are released over the summer. The company obtained a special permit from the Milford Planning and Zoning Commission earlier this month to use its 75 Cascade Blvd. property for a “pop-up” style outdoor retail shop in a “beer garden” type space, Hartford Business Journal reported.

"We are excited to be offering a limited number of pop-up taproom experiences at our brewery in Milford, CT this summer," Athletic wrote on its website. "Taking place on our patio one weekend per month, we will have flagship brews and a selection of our current online offerings available both to enjoy on site and to-go, along with limited selections on draft!"

Launched in 2018, Athletic Brewing is the leading non-alcoholic beer brand in the U.S., with over 18% market share, according to the company.
