City Of Milford Declares Snow Emergency As Winter Storm Approaches
The city is announcing that parking restrictions will go into effect to allow plows to keep roads passable.

MILFORD, CT — The City of Milford has declared a snow emergency ahead of a winter storm forecast this weekend, including parking restrictions.
The following is a statement from Mayor Anthony Giannattasio:
In anticipation of the pending snowstorm, a Snow Emergency has been declared in the City of Milford.

Alternate side of the street parking will be in effect beginning 6:00pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025 through 6:00pm Monday, February 10, 2025.
Vehicles parked on city roads should be parked on the even number side of the street Saturday, February 8 until 8:00am Sunday, February 9. On Sunday, February 9, vehicles should be moved to the odd number side of the street until being moved back to the even number side by 8:00am Monday, February 10. During this time, vehicles that are not following parking restrictions will be subject to ticketing and/or towing. This alternate side of the street parking ban will be lifted at 6:00pm on Monday, February 10.

This ban will allow plows to keep roads passable and accessible to emergency vehicles. As a reminder, off street parking should be utilized where possible and residents are reminded that they are responsible for clearing snow and ice from their sidewalks and property.
