Previous public office, appointive or elective:

Yes, I was appointed to the "Housing Board of Appeals in 1993, and served 2 years on that Bd. In 1995 I was elected to the Planning & Zoning Bd. and served 6 years on that Bd. Was elected Vice Chairman, and later served as Chairman of that Bd. In 2001, I was elected on to the Bd. of Alderman, and elected "Majority Leader" in 2007, and was elected "Chairman of the Bd. in 2011, and have been elected "Chairman of the Bd" ever since. (14 years)

Why are you seeking this office?
I am seeking another term on the Bd. of Alderman, because I feel I have made a difference in my District, and I want to continue helping folks in my District, and in the fine City of Milford.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Taxes /I have continued to save the people in Milford money on their tax bill by keeping the Departments budget tight, but carefully keeping up their services to the people of Milford, which they deserve.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The major difference is my experience, and knowledge of the workings of the City. No candidate has the experience that I have, and I have proven that over & over

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Besides taxes, I am focusing on the quality of life for our residence, and making sure the Bd. of Education is fully funded with the needs of our students.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have had a perfect attendance in every year I have been on the Board, and along with my fellow Alderman, we have maintained little to no increase in our taxes, and have always supported our Departments budgets, and the Bd. of Education.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Listen closely to all of your residents, and constituents, and always get back to them with their issues, and remember: communication is key when you are trying to solve their problems, and concerns.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I think most of the residents already know me, that if you call me, you know I will listen, and get the job done. I think they know that I will never let them down.
