Previous public office, appointive or elective:

Yes. I currently serve as Milford’s 12th Mayor and have previously represented our community on both the Board of Aldermen and the Planning and Zoning Board. These roles have given me a deep understanding of our city’s operations and the needs of our residents.

Why are you seeking this office?
Serving as Mayor of Milford has been the honor of a lifetime. Over the past two years, our city has made meaningful strides in infrastructure, public safety, and community engagement - all while maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency. I’m seeking reelection because I believe in the work we’re doing and the progress we’ve made, and I’m committed to continuing that momentum.
Milford is more than just a city - it’s a community rooted in history, natural beauty, and civic pride. From our vibrant downtown and stunning shoreline to our schools, small businesses, and neighborhoods, I’m proud to serve as a champion for all who call Milford home.

Being Mayor means listening to residents, responding to their concerns, and making decisions that reflect our shared values. It’s about advocating for the Milford of tomorrow and ensuring that our city continues to thrive - not just for today’s residents, but for future generations. I want to ensure every voice is heard and every decision is made with care, transparency, and purpose. Milford has given so much to me, and I’m ready to continue giving back in a way that makes a lasting difference.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Public safety. As Mayor, I’m proud of the proactive steps we’ve taken to keep Milford residents safe and healthy. Early in my term, I worked closely with Police Chief Keith Mello to implement a comprehensive four-point safety plan focused on:
• Enhancing driver and pedestrian safety
• Improving officer safety and support
• Expanding training for first responders
• Working to keep harmful vape and smoke products away from children in the community.
• Leveraging new technology to improve 911 response times

We will continue to invest in public safety infrastructure and ensure our emergency services have the tools and training they need to protect our community.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I entered public service because I believe in the power of local government to make meaningful change - and that belief is just as strong today as it was two decades ago. As Mayor, I have the privilege of making a positive impact every day. My experience, accessibility, and deep-rooted commitment to Milford sets me apart. I’m not just managing the city - I’m actively building a future that reflects the hopes and values of our residents.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
My campaign will continue to focus on empowering families, protecting public safety, and fostering a strong, inclusive economy. Milford’s business community is thriving, and we’re working to ensure that growth is sustainable and responsive to local needs.

One of my proudest initiatives has been the launch of the Business Listening Tour, where I’ve met directly with entrepreneurs and small business owners across the city. These conversations have shaped policies that support innovation, job creation, and long-term economic vitality.

When I was growing up in Milford, there was no shortage of places to play mini golf. For far too long, however, our city has gone without a course of its own. Thankfully, that’s about to change.

In partnership with the Golf Commission, I’m proud to announce that we’re bringing mini golf back to Milford! Within the next few weeks, we’ll break ground on a brand-new, 18-hole professional mini golf course - designed to be fun, challenging, and family-friendly. I look forward to sharing updates as the project moves forward. Stay tuned!

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to witness, and contribute to, the incredible work our city does every day. From infrastructure improvements and public safety enhancements to community events and economic development, I’ve led with transparency, collaboration, and a clear vision for Milford’s future.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Be intentional with your time. Surround yourself with people who uplift you and seek out experiences that help you grow. Time is our most valuable resource - use it wisely and purposefully.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Being a good Mayor means being accessible, accountable, and responsive. My door is always open, and my phone is always on. I encourage residents to reach out anytime - whether to share a concern, ask a question, offer an idea, or to celebrate a milestone. I’m here to serve, and I’m committed to making Milford the best it can be.
