Dennis John Pollina, Sr., 65, of Milford, who departed this life peacefully on November 24, 2025.

He was the proud co-owner of Belair Seafood of Milford, working alongside his close friend Jimmy.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis John Pollina, Sr., 65, of Milford, who departed this life peacefully on November 24, 2025. Born on July 19, 1960, in New York, NY, he was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Joyce (Cottone) Pollina.

Dennis spent his early years in Brooklyn, attending P.S. 177 before moving to Huntington, CT, where he graduated from Shelton High School. He later became the proud co-owner of Belair Seafood of Milford, working alongside his close friend Jimmy. Throughout his life, he enjoyed a successful and varied career in construction and other ventures. Dennis will be remembered for his easygoing nature and his deep love and pride for his family.

Dennis is survived by his children Alexis (Myron) Seniw, Dennis (Alyssa) Pollina, and Heather (Dave) Pollina-Welker; his cherished grandchildren Juliette Seniw, Eleanor, Violet, and Flint Pollina, and Jillian Welker; his sister Denise (John) Mangoni; his uncles John (Lynn) Cottone and Frank Cottone; and his nephews Michael, David, and Paul. He is also survived by Suzanne Munroe, the mother of his children, and her family, as well as his loyal grand-dog, Moose.

Dennis faced his illness with remarkable courage—strength that inspired all who stood beside him. Though his body could no longer keep pace, his spirit, resilience, and love will remain an enduring part of his family’s story.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 21 Robert Treat Parkway, Milford, CT (Meet Directly at Church).
