Dennis Zimbalkin, 61, a long time resident of Milford, passed away on December 7th.

Dennis Zimbalkin, 61, a long time resident of Milford, passed away on December 7th. Dennis was born in New York City on February 13, 1964. He was the son of the late Leonid and Valentina Zimbalkin.

Dennis is survived by his brother Eugene (Cheryl) Zimbalkin of Asheville, North Carolina, his sister Irene (Thomas) Milewski of Milford, his beloved nephew Michael (Sarah) Milewski of Milford, his beloved niece Christina (Daniel) Champagne of West Haven, as well as his great nieces and nephews Emilie Milewski, Zoe Champagne, William Milewski, Samuel Milewski, and Julian Champagne.

Dennis is also survived by his aunts, uncle and cousins. Dennis served in the US Marine Corps, and prior to his retirement, was employed for 36 years by Rostra Tool in Branford as a machinist.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing with his niece and nephew, hiking, biking, and travelling out west to visit many national parks. He also enjoyed watching the sunsets off of Gulf Beach each evening.

Friends are invited to visit with his family on Sunday, January 3rd, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cody White Funeral Home. Burial Services to be held privately.
