DMBA Hosts Annual Mother's Day Fashion Show
The show is scheduled for Apr. 30 at the Milford Yacht Club and will feature food, boutique fashion, and prizes.
From Downtown Milford Business Association: Need a little Mother’s Day inspiration? The Downtown Milford Business Association has you covered – and you’ll do a little good while you’re at it – with their annual Mother’s Day Fashion Show benefitting the United Way of Milford. You don’t have to be a mom to enjoy this fashion show, which promises great food, boutique fashion, and the chance to win prizes.
Scheduled for Sunday, April 30th at 4:30pm at the Milford Yacht Club, this event kicks off a robust season of DMBA events. Local celebs like Jocelyn Maminta of WTNH will be dressed and styled by downtown Milford boutiques, and guests will enjoy a three-course meal and water views from the Yacht Club dining room. Vendors will display select items for sale, including women’s clothing and lingerie, jewelry, organic makeup, and organic children’s clothing, so you’ll be able to grab a gift for the special women in your life, and treat yourself to a little something as well.
Downtown Milford has enjoyed a resurgence of new shops, salons, and restaurants along with established local favorites. Located right on the harbor, the historic downtown is a destination long known by locals and surrounding communities for its New England charm and easy access to area beaches. The Mother’s Day Fashion Show offers a peek into this thriving community, all while supporting the increasing need of Milford families through the United Way.

This event is scheduled for 4:30 pm, Sunday, April 30 at the Milford Yacht Club, located at 131 Trumbull Ave, Milford, CT.. Tickets for this event are $40 and include a three-course sit down meal, fashion show, shopping, entertainment, and prizes (14 and older to attend). DECKER Jewelry, Whispers from Lady Olga’s Lingerie, Galina’s, The Lovet Shop, Sophie Claire’s, and Makeup Makeup by Kristina Foreman.
