Driver Trapped Inside Car Rescued By Milford Fire Department

The driver was injured in the accident, officials said.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Fire Department posted on Facebook that emergency responders were able to rescue a motorist trapped in their car.

At 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, a 911 call was received reporting a motor vehicle accident on Anderson Avenue, said Battalion Chief/PIO Adam Hansen.

Fire and rescue crews "arrived to find a single occupant trapped inside of (their) vehicle. Companies worked to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the occupant. Minor injuries were reported and the occupant was transported to an area hospital for evaluation," Hansen said.
