Gladys Christine Nastu of Milford, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025 in her home with her daughter, Karen, by her side. She was born March 4, 1930, in Danbury to the late Ray and Gladys Searles. Gladys was the beloved wife of the late George Nastu.
Gladys will be sadly missed by her children: Chris Nastu and his wife Kathy of Wythville, Virginia; Debbie Burns and her husband, Richard of Oxford, and Karen Finch and her husband, Richard of Milford, 7 grandchildren Chris Nastu, Jr., Dennis Nastu and Kevin Nastu (Katie), Richards Burns Jr. (Diana), Brendan Burns and Nicholas Burns (Aicha) and Ryan Finch and 6 great-grandchildren Emma, Kasey, Kainen, Adriana, Makenzie, and Connor and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Gladys was predeceased by her sisters: Hazel Elwell, Ruth Leach, Jean Clark, and Dorothy Davis.
