MILFORD, CT — A Good Samaritan intervened and stopped any further damage from a stabbing attack, police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 24, an officer responded to a Milford residence after various 911 calls reporting a stabbing, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a stabbing victim who was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The victim was treated and released from the hospital, police said.

They also found a Milford resident injured at the scene, police said.
The victim had an active domestic violence protective order against the Milford resident, police said.

Through an investigation, detectives learned the Milford resident had stabbed the victim, police said.
The Milford resident was injured when a Good Samaritan came to the aid of the victim and stopped any further attack, police said.
The Milford resident received treatment at the hospital and was released into police custody, police said.
The Milford resident was charged with 1st-degree assault, criminal attempt/murder, criminal violation of a protective order and 2nd-degree threatening, police said.
The Milford resident was held on a $750,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on Nov. 27.
