Information Released On September 11th Remembrance Ceremony In Milford
The city is inviting residents to the ceremony, which will honor local victims.

MILFORD, CT – The City of Milford will honor the memory of September 11, 2001 with a ceremony of song and prayer on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the September 11th Monument located on the historic City Hall grounds. The observance will begin at 8:46am with the ringing of the bells by Fire Chief Anthony Fabrizi, marking the moment the first tower was struck.
In Milford, we remember and honor Michael Miller and Avnish Patel, both graduates of Live Oaks School, and Seth Morris, a former student of Mathewson School, whose lives were tragically lost that day.

Mayor Giannattasio invites all residents to attend the ceremony and encourages everyone to take a moment of reflection in remembrance of those who perished, as well as the brave individuals who took part in the rescue efforts.
