Flag that flew over the State Capitol will be displayed at Branford VFW Post 12106.

From the Connecticut General Assembly:
BRANFORD, CT – In honor of National Flag Day, Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-Branford) joined Representative Lonnie Reed (D-Branford) to present a flag of the United States of America to Branford VFW Post 12106. The legislators gave Branford’s veterans a flag that has flown over the State Capitol building in Hartford, and was made in the United States.
“On Flag Day people across this country honor the flag of the United States of America and the values of freedom and liberty that it symbolizes,” said Senator Kennedy. “We also must honor those who have defended the flag and sacrificed so much to maintain our way of life. It was an honor to spend this time with the veterans at Branford’s VFW and donate this flag to them.”
