Milford 2023 Beach Sticker Requirement Goes Into Effect in May

The 2023 Beach Sticker is required to park at Walnut Beach and Gulf Beach

MILFORD, CT –The beach sticker requirement will soon go into effect to park on two of Milford’s well-known beaches.

The parking or beach sticker is required to park at Walnut Beach and Gulf Beach from May 1 through Sept. 30.

Milford residents can request their resident parking sticker from the Milford Tax Collector’s Office for the upcoming year. Stickers can be required in person, by mail or online. Residents have to present their current motor vehicle registration for each vehicle and additional documents as needed.

For non-residents, a season pass is available for $250. It can be purchased at the Milford Recreation Department in the Parsons Complex, 70 W. River St.

Season passes are only valid for parking at Gulf Beach and Walnut Beach. Non-residents also have to present their current motor vehicle registration.

For those without a resident or non-resident parking sticker, the fee for parking at one of these beaches is $40 per day per car.

The same parking regulations apply if there is an event at Walnut Beach or Gulf Beach.

Street parking is available in a pay-by-space parking spot. Street parking has a fee of $5 per hour. If the time is exceeded, a $90 fee will be issued by the Milford Police Department.
