Milford Coronavirus Updates: New Cases Rise, Vaccination Clinic
Here is an update on the number of total and new cases in Milford and details on a vaccination clinic for youths.

MILFORD, CT — Since the pandemic began, Milford has reported 6,390 coronavirus cases including 160 new cases since Dec. 14, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.
Of the 837 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 across all of Connecticut, most of the hospitalized — 274 — are in New Haven County. Since the pandemic began, Milford has reported 147 deaths as a result of complications from the coronavirus, according to data from the state health department.
The infection rate has been around 7 percent for the past week for all of Connecticut. According to state officials, more than 70 percent of Milford residents are considered fully vaccinated and 76 percent of residents have received at least one shot.

A COVID vaccination clinic will be held on MONDAY, Dec. 27th @ Jonathan Law High School from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. for kids ages 5-11 only.
Walk-ins welcome, no appointment required.
*These clinics will provide second doses to children ages 5-11 who attended the clinic on December 2, 2021 as well as first doses to children ages 5-11 who have not been vaccinated yet. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please bring a health insurance card and photo ID if you have them. It is not necessary to have health insurance or ID to receive the vaccine. No one will be turned away for lack of insurance or ID.
