Milford Increases Winter Pickleball Options
The city has ordered eight pickleball nets to be installed at Eisenhower Park.
MILFORD, CT — Eisenhower Park is now open for pickleball. Nets will be installed at eight pickleball courts at the park.
The following appeared on the city's Facebook page:
"Mayor Giannattasio spent the holiday weekend meeting with members of the Milford community and there is a clear desire for increased outdoor Pickleball options in the winter months. As a result of these meetings, Mayor Giannattasio working in conjunction with the City of Milford Recreation Department, ordered nets to be installed on all eight Pickleball courts at Eisenhower Park.

"The courts will be open for play as weather permits. In order to ensure that the courts remain in pristine condition, players are reminded not to shovel snow or ice off the courts and/or nets."
